Putting routine PPE checks into operation
A transport and logistics company in the CIS / Asia region introduced video monitoring of personal protective equipment at one of its facilities. The implementation took place in November–December 2023.
Deployment scope
The project used a Health & Safety system with preinstalled software. The team deployed it at the customer’s site, configured PPE monitoring scenarios and prepared the solution for industrial operation.
- Install the video analytics system in the customer environment.
- Configure checks of required protective equipment.
- Prepare the event-monitoring workflow for routine use.
Documented result
PPE control moved into an automated workflow that records events through video analytics. The deployment established a configured system for routine operational monitoring.
Practical rollout considerations
For another logistics facility, the equipment rules should be mapped to the actual work areas and activities. Camera suitability, the visibility of required PPE, event thresholds and the responsible reviewer are agreed before commissioning. This keeps the configuration tied to the site’s work process.
