Separate platform and application
The platform provides the technological components for models, scenarios and distributed processing. An operational solution also includes source connections, application interfaces, event workflows, reference data, infrastructure and support responsibilities. The product name alone does not specify every installed module.
Describe the delivery
| Area | Record before deployment |
|---|---|
| Sources | Camera list, access, stream profiles, zones and owners |
| Analytics | Model/scenario versions, parameters, event definitions and acceptance data |
| Infrastructure | Processing nodes, storage, network, certificates and resource limits |
| Application | Operator workflows, roles, reports and retention |
| Integration | Contracts, endpoints, credentials, retries and response owners |
| Operations | Monitoring, backups, recovery, update and rollback procedures |
Prepare acceptance criteria
Record both functional results and operating conditions: source quality, false and missed events, repeated notifications, delay and processing capacity. An accepted test run does not by itself establish readiness of every production source.
Keep responsibility explicit
Assign an owner to the camera network, computing environment, scenario lifecycle, event review, integration and incident response. Version and retain the agreed delivery specification.
